Oregano Essential Oil

Properties: This essential oil is obtained via steam distillation of the Origanum vulgare plant, also known as Oregano or Istanbul Kekiği. Oregano essential oil’s chemical composition includes Carvacrol, Thymol, p-Cymene, and γ-Terpinene which provide its antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that help support the immune system. Studies have shown oregano oil to be an effective antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antidiabetic as well.

Usage:
-Oregano oil used in a diffuser or steam inhaler helps relieve cough and cold symptoms and suppress coughing fits.
-Oregano oil supports the immune system by improving the efficiency of the respiratory tract by loosening and eliminating mucus and phlegm.
-Oregano oil diluted with a carrier oil provides an anti-inflammatory massage which helps arthritis, injury, and sore muscles.
-This oil can soothe redness, itchiness, irritation, rashes, and insect bites. It can be added to moisturizers or carrier oils for this purpose.
-Oregano oil has a sedative effective, aiding sleep aid when diffused in the bedroom.
– Oregano oil applied to the skin can improve skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, and fungal infections, as it eliminates yeast, bacteria, and fungi.
-Blending oregano oil with shampoo helps eliminate dandruff and itchy scalp.
– Oregano oil mixed with lemon peel oil and water in a spray bottle is a powerful antiseptic home cleaning agent for surfaces. When sprayed in the corners, baseboards, and cupboards, it can effectively keep away ants and cockroaches. Spraying it in humid areas such as the shower, it can prevent fungus and mold from developing.

Ingredients: 100% pure Origanum vulgare oil. This oil is nature friendly and suitable for vegan use. Not tested on animals.

Warnings: For external use only. This oil should be diluted with a carrier oil for topical applications. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water. May cause allergies on sensitive skin.

Storage: Keep tightly closed at room temperature, away from direct light, heat, and moisture. It should be consumed within 12 months after opening.
